Welcome to the Peak District and Thorndene B & B.
Thorndene B & B opened late 2010, in the beautiful Hope Valley, the boundary between ‘White Peak’ and ‘Dark Peak’ in the Peak District NP.
Thorndene offers 3 stylish and comfortable furnished, en-suite, double rooms and a breakfast room/guest lounge to relax, meet fellow guests to share your favourite walks, mountain bike routes, pubs and to make plans for tomorrows adventure.
The Hope Valley is heaven on earth for outdoor lovers with:
- superb walking – including the start of the Pennine Way in nearby Edale
- the UK’s best rock climbing at Stanage Edge, Hathersage
- fabulous mountain biking all over the Hope Valley
- potholing around Castleton and Bradwell.
With the rest of the Peak District in easy reach, for a deserved rest or more exploring, the Hope Valley is the perfect base for an active and/or relaxing break.
Thorndene B & B is located near a pub, serving food 7 days/week.
We operate a non-smoking policy throughout our accommodation. If you are a smoker you are, of course, still very welcome to stay with us but will have to go outside to smoke (please dispose of cigarette responsibly).
We do not allow pets in our B & B, with the exception of assistance dogs.
Enjoy your stay with us!
